Hurricane Katrina made its path through both of the towns I call/have called home, Gulfport and Hattiesburg, MS. This morning, I woke up and read on the online edition of the Washington Post, where an estimated 80 perished.  Guys, this storm took this region by surprize.  Katrina made her path to the Gulf Coast in a day, and with the interstates congested, many people were trapped where they were.  I pray for my family's and many other's safety and well-being.  Most of my mother's family live in Gulfport, an aunt and her family in Pascagoula, and most of my father's family live in Hattiesburg and the surrounding regions.  I only heard from my uncle and his family, who were in Memphis at the time of the storm.  Pray for us.
